This section is dedicated to the town of Kittanning, Pennsylvania,
where the movie "The Mothman Prophecies" was filmed.

The photos to the right were provided by West Kittanning's Assistant Fire Chief, Joe Mores. He and his wife visited Point Pleasant to see the origin of the Mothman prophecy. Joe was on hand for much of the filming in Kittanning. He spoke of many behind-the-scenes-details and the production aspects.
These are 3 photos of Kittanning fire trucks used in the movie. The trucks were "re-done" with logos of the Point Pleasant, WV and Gallipolis, Ohio fire departments for the movie production. |
